The Alvarado Seventh-day Adventist Church is involved in numerous additional outreach and ministry programs beyond our regular services & Children’s Ministries. Below is a listing of some of our additional ministries. Bible Correspondence School:
The Alvarado Seventh-day Adventist Church offers Bible Studies by US Mail.
Community Services:
The Alvarado Seventh-day Adventist Church hosts:
Alvarado SDA Food Ministry: This ministry distributes food weekly to qualifying recipients.
Renewed Life Dorcas Ministry: This ministry is temporarily closed & unable to accept donations.
Additional Community Services as needed.
Health Ministries:
Our Health Ministries promotes health through various activities, depending on the year and the current needs in the area.
Hospitality Ministries:
Our Hospitality Ministries include our Church Greeters; a weekly Fellowship Dinner after church services; & Social Activities.
Religious Liberty Ministry
We have a yearly sermon on the topic. Also, the current Religious Liberty Leader can assist members in contacting the appropriate personnel at the Conference or Union Level for guidance on dealing with individual Religious Liberty conflicts.
Prison Ministry
Teams organized by the Alvarado English Seventh-day Adventist Church conduct weekly services at the William R. Boyd Unit.
